# Preparation for creating a course

**Before** creating a course, Groups and Disciplines must be made.
1. A **Group** must be assigned to a **Discipline**.

2. **Before** creating a course, **Lessons** for the Course and **Topics** that belong to a specific **Discipline** must be available.

3. To prepare a modified lesson for use in courses, it is necessary to activate a **Course lesson** checkbox and specify the order number for the lesson in the section.

If the **Course lesson** is activated, there is **no need** to specify the date when creating the lesson.
Since topics are added **through a curriculum**, it is necessary to create the curriculum

and **its topics** for the lessons **before** creating the course.

To make the adding topics process easier use **Enter** button.
