# Users of 7SKY LMS

There are following types of users:

### **Administrator of the system**
This user is the administrator of your institution's system. This role may be held by a manager, senior lecturer, HR professional, or department head.
This role is essential for managing processes within your system.
Available features:
* Setting up the institution
* Adding new users and assigning roles to them. Managing balances
* Communication with space participants (general, group, role-based, personal news and notifications)
* Group formation
* Creating courses and curricula
* Forming and managing the class schedule
* Viewing and editing educational materials
* Access to video conferences as a moderator
* Control and analytics
### **Instructor**
The teacher is an instructor of a specific subject for a group or set of groups.
Available features:
* Convenient schedule
* Creating and editing educational materials
* Conducting video conferences
* Communication with students (listeners) and parents (mentors)
* Simple news, notifications, and homework chats
### **Tutor**
The tutor is an assistant to the teacher within a group or set of groups.
Available features:
* Convenient schedule
* Creating and editing educational materials
* Conducting video conferences
* Communication with students (listeners) and parents (mentors)
* Simple news, notifications, and homework chats
### **Student**
The student is the end recipient of the educational service.
Available features:
* Convenient schedule
* Viewing lessons and educational materials
* Participating in video conferences
* Video conference recordings
* Homework, journals
* Library of uploaded educational materials for the group
* Communication with instructors (teachers) and tutors
### **Parent**
The parent (mentor, supervisor) is the controller of the recipient of the educational service and the quality of the services provided.
Available features:
* Schedule of the ward(s)
* Viewing lessons and educational materials
* Video conference recordings
* Library of uploaded educational materials for the group
* Communication with instructors (teachers) and tutors
### **Course Listener**
The listener is a user subscribed to a course or a group of courses. Listeners do not have deadlines for completing tasks!
Available features:
* Viewing lessons and educational materials posted within the chosen course
* Homework
* Library of uploaded educational materials for the group
* Communication with instructors
